Canale Real Estate was founded by Thomas J. Canale, Sr. and Mary L. Canale in February, 1978. The main focus of the firm was to provide a level of professionalism and service higher than that of competing firms. This strategy was very successful and Canale Real Estate began its upward climb toward area leadership.

Throughout the 1980’s, our company handled a variety of transactions, including residential, commercial, farm property sales, and appraisals. Canale Real Estate began to gain a reputation for high-quality residential and farm brokerage.

In 1995, Charles V. Canale became President of Canale Real Estate Inc. Mr. Canale decided to expand all aspects of the firm’s Commercial Brokerage Division.  With professional service, an aggressive marketing approach, and the sale of many area properties. Which helped establish Canale Real Estate’s reputation as a full-service, commercial brokerage firm, serving the needs of corporate clients.

With an eye towards the future, Canale Real Estate has actively pursued various development opportunities. The firm is in the process of developing properties to provide quality housing for Streator’s middle income residents.
